Humane Society of Williamson County
The Humane Society of Williamson County is a “no kill” shelter located in Leander, Texas on 22 acres. HSWC believes all animals deserve the right to live; they strive to find forever homes for each animal brought to their door. Although located in Williamson County, the HSWC provides it’s programs and services to all the residents of Central Texas.
HSWC offers many benefits to Williamson County as a whole, such as:
* provide foster care to animals
* food and shelter for animals
* run a low-cost spay and neuter clinic
* run a low-cost vaccination clinic (4th Saturday of each month available to the public)
* educational tours
* presentations to area schools and community groups
The Humane Society of Williamson County receives no government funding; it operates on donations, grants and fees for services provided. HSWC is a 501(c)3 organization.
