Living in Georgetown
ByI love living in Georgetown, the small town atmosphere is great. I like going to the grocery store and running into people I know – it gives a sense of belonging in the community. I love high school football games where it feels like the whole town has shown up to root our Eagle boys on to victory; Sun City fans come out and cheer as well.
Along with the small town atmosphere in Georgetown we have big city perks too; there’s a Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Target, Hobby Lobby, Kohl’s, Kirklands, Best Buy, Office Depot, Michaels, TJ Maxx, Justice for Girls and many more. You can’t forget about the Downtown Historic District either; there’s antique shops where you can get hand dipped chocolate pretzels, The Escape and Brazos Collection for the artistic beader.
If you want a face paced atmosphere where you can go unnoticed and noone cares, Georgetown probably isn’t the place for you. If you want a place to call home, a place to belong, be a part of a community… give Georgetown a try. I love living in Georgetown.
I have a Client that moved to Georgetown within the past year and she loves living there!
