School Information for the Austin Metro Area

For many home buyers, one of the most important parts of the moving experience involves finding the “right school” for younger family members to attend.  I have found the following website to be extremely useful when you aren’t too sure what it is you should be looking for.  At GreatSchools.com you can search by zip code or city, public or private, compare accountability rankings to average class size by grade…

Once you have searched out a specific school and know what district the school belongs to, then I find the district website to be the most helpful.  The district website will have school start dates, district calendars and contact numbers and information on how to register incoming students.  Of course, we can’t forget the lunch menus – I am a mother of all boys!
